Wow...it's been awhile!

Ok...so I have lots to update! So sorry I've been gone for so long. I more need to write this post for myself...I'm not adding pics of anything right now. But we have had a busy January, and I will update soon! I feel like if it's in writing I will do it. :) But we are headed out of town tomorrow morning for a quick weekend trip. Then when we get back I get a few days to spend with my brother before he heads off for 2 years on a mission for our church! So after that....I will get updated so I can remember what has been keeping us so busy! Oh...Kylie got her cast off today! BIG NEWS!! :) I am SO EXCITED. I was a nervous wreck and kept talking to her about it so she would know what to expect. Well she did AMAZING! I was ready for the tears that were going to come for both of us. But when they used the saw to cut it off....she LAUGHED!!! She laughed the whole time! I was amazed! It was loud and scary to me but she was LAUGHING! :) My big strong girl!!!! I'm so impressed with her! The hard part has come after the cast was off. She definitely favors that arm and doesn't want to move it much. By the end of the day she was moving it more, but I'm sure it will take some time. Anyway: will update more soon! SORRY! Hope everyone is doing well!!!

Happy New Year Re-Do!!!

We had another holiday bust just a weekish after our Christmas spent in the ER. Brian and I were both sick with the flu. It was MISERABLE! And we had fun plans that day as well. Betsy and Sophie were coming up to our house to spend the night. It was Kylie first sleepover with a friend. We were excited, but it obviously didn't work out when it was suppose to. So....we had a re-do New Year celebration this Friday night. It was a lot of fun. Betsy and Sophie came over for our sleepover and we tried to make it a fun sleepover for the girls (and us! :) ). There was yummy party food, they got to stay up late to play, we made a pretend "house" for the girls, and just had a lot of fun. Thanks for coming over Bets and Soph! Come back soon! :)

This was the very intricate and involved house we made. :) The girl's would NOT stop playing in this and Kylie made us keep it up long after the girls went home the next day. :)

The stairs became the car the girls drove around town. :) Not sure why they have to be laying down to drive. :) But both girls kept trying to go up a stair to be behind the other so that they were in the back seat and not driving. It was funny.

We had a great night and it is just so much fun watching Kylie grow up, have conversations with her friend, have a very active immagination....and just realize she isn't a baby anymore. She's a big growing up girl. (Can't help but be a bit sad at that!!!)
