A Stampin' Up! moment...

Those that know me, know I'm a Stampin' Up! demo and that I'm in love with practically every product in the catalog. :) I am a demo for the pure fun of it, and one of the things I do is teach classes. I love sharing with anyone that's interested what I love. So I guess it wouldn't be right to not share something I love a whole lot with all that read my blog, right? :) I have fallen in love with this fun summer project (that could be used and tailored for any occasion). This is actually the project for the next class I am doing, but I wanted everyone to see it! :) (I got this idea from a fellow demo so I can compliment it all day without tooting my own horn. :) ) But look at how cute this box of cards is.

This is the box front.

The box opened. What I really love about this box is that the lid is attached to the box. It's just more fun that way, I guess. :)

And these are the 10 cards that fit in the box (the envelopes for these 10 cards are also in the box...just didn't feel the need to take a picture of those :) ).

Could these be any cuter?! Yes...I love them and hope you enjoyed seeing them as well. I hope you're inspired to go create something on your own now!!!

For those of you that love Stampin' Up! products as well...here is some fun info. (If you don't care, please don't feel like you have to keep reading!! :) ) Stampin' Up is offering a few great promotions this month.

  • Buy a preselected stamp set and receive the coordinating wheel for FREE! Feel free to click on this link for more info: http://www.stampinup.com/us/documents/FreeWheelin_0308_US.pdf
  • Host a minimum of $350 workshop between March 18 and April 30, and earn an EXTRA $25 in hostess awards! This can be done with a traditional workshop, ordering it all yourself (my fave option!! :) ), or just collecting orders from friends. That means...if you can collect $350 in orders, you would get $65.00 in Stampin' Up! merchandise FREE!!! Here is a link for more info on this: http://www.stampinup.com/us/documents/US_Hostess_Promo_0308.pdf

I am also doing my own fabulous special for the month of April. If you spend $100 or more, you can pick ANYTHING in the catalog for 1/2 off!!! That's enough blabbing about this but I hope you loved that project and I hope you had a great weekend! Is anyone else SO DONE with the cold weather in Utah?!?! Don't tease me with warm, fun, play weather and then bring winter back!!!! I NEED MY SPRING!!! :)

HAPPY EASTER!!!

***LONG POST WARNING!!! :) ***

I hope everyone had a great Easter! We had a great day! The Easter bunny came and gave Kylie some fun things. Her favorite being.....HER FIRST CAR!!!! (I had a Stampin' Up! meeting at my house on the Friday before Easter, so Brian took Kylie to Toys R Us to play. He ended up coming home with a Cozy Coupe. Kylie's best friend has one and she LOVES LOVES it. So why not get her one, right?! :) ) She was SO HAPPY to get it and freaked out when she saw it. She calls it her car and she's always asking to play with it now.
Right after church, we met up with Kylie's best friend so we could get a picture of them together. Well...didn't work quite like we hoped. But both girls looke BEAUTIFUL in their Easter dresses...as you can see. :)

After church, we went to Jan's house for dinner. And what an amazing meal it was! So much food! She also did an Easter egg hunt for the kids, and they all had a blast. Holden even found an egg from LAST YEAR'S egg hunt! It was pretty funny! Luckily, it was one with money in it (change) instead of candy, so it was still good! :) Kylie got quite the hang of it though, and LOVED looking for her eggs. And I have to say, Brian is such a good Daddy! He had so much fun looking for eggs with his little girl and got so excited to find them with her! :) It's SO FUN watching them both!

Trying to get 4 kids to take a picture together is never easy. This is the best one I got. :) I think they all look like angels!

Kylie loves her Uncle Matty. He's definitely a fun uncle! Whenever I talk about Matt to Kylie, she just says, "Matt" in this cute voice and laughs. She thinks he's so funny. I think this picture is priceless....

And finally .....is there an angel in the midst?! I have to say yes!!!! Look at this stunning girl! :)

Oops..

So I figured out how to get templates, other than the ones blogspot give me! FUN! This will be so much fun now. :) However...for some reason when I updated the template, my "Blogs I Visit" list disappeared! And that's how I keep updated....I just click through my list on my blog. So...if you know I visit your site and you aren't on the list, please email me your blog address or post it here! I can't find some of them! THANKS!!! SORRY!

Could this be any more fun?!....

Take this test and let's see how you do! All you bloggers out there probably have mad typing skills...so let's see! :) Brian and I sometimes see who can type faster, and so I love taking typing tests. Guess that's the nerd in me! :) I know I could have done better, but was a bit distracted. I'll try again later and see if I can improve.

Kangaroo Zoo FUN!!

Last week Kylie and I went to this FABULOUS place called Kangaroo Zoo. It is basically a huge indoor room with all sorts of inflatable toys to bounce on, slide down, climb up, and just goof off! We went with Emily and Bailey and Emily's friend and daughter. It was a blast! I HIGHLY recommend going if you're in the area! I talked so highly of it that Brian wanted to take us there this weekend. So we went back just a few days later. He LOVED it so much as well! I have pictures of that day too, but they aren't uploaded to my computer yet. Those will be coming sometime though! :) This is just a great place to take the kids and have fun as parents too!

Colorado Fun...

I know I have just added lots of posts....so here is one last one! (Sorry it's kinda long!) We had a great time in CO! We had family time, work time, friend time, and all sorts of FUN time! I got to even go out with one of my best friends! We were college roommates, and still have stayed close all these years! (I can't believe that A.) I've been graduated from high school for 10 YEARS this year! and B.) I've been graduated from college 5 YEARS this year!!!!!! Where did time go?!?!?) She and her family all live in CO, so I get to see them when I go visit my family as well. I got to see her new apartment, she cooked me dinner (can we say THANKS for the YUMMY tortellini!!!), we saw a great movie...it was a FABULOUS evening!
Here we are on our girl's night out!

This is the movie we saw? Have any of you seen it? I still can't stop thinking about it. It really was a good one.

Kylie got some fun cousin time in as well. We went down to Brandon and Leah's house and I was so happy she got to play with her cousins! It was so much fun watching them play. I can't believe my brother and I both have kids that can play together! It's crazy how time flies!!!

The kids weren't that cooperative with photos, so didn't get too many. But they certainly had fun playing! Here are a few...
Crae was so excited when we came in the door. He says, "OH! My aunt is here!" This boy is the best! :) He was so sweet with Kylie and loved playing with her.

Lexy is SUCH a good little mommy. Kylie clings to her when she's around, and it's fun to see! They are both in similar sweaters so thought that was precious!

What could be better than eating Cracker Jacks and watching a few minutes of a movie? Nothing could distract them!

GOOD-BYE CO UNTIL NEXT TIME....

It's always hard to leave family after a fun visit. At least we flew out at a much more decent hour...like 8:30am or something. Turns out our flight was delayed a little bit. So we got some play time in the airport in. Then, as we are walking onto the plane, a maintenance man calls in on the little phone they have by the plane and says, "There nothing wrong with the mechanics of the plane, but just wanted to let you know the paint was chipping off." Not something you really want to see after your plane was delayed for some unknown reason. We got back safe though, and Kylie had fun playing on the people movers in the airport! :)
Buh-Bye Colorado! We love you and will be back soon!

My favorite park...and my favorite girl!!!

One of the reasons I was really excited to go to CO was the park right across the street from my parents. It is one of the best parks I've ever been to! We love it! So....one of the first things we did when we got there (after our naps!), was go play in the BEAUTIFUL 70 degree weather! GOOD THING WE DID! Because the next day, we woke up to about 3 inches of SNOW on the ground and it was FREEZING the rest of the time we were there! I was SO MAD and still am a bit bitter about it! Oh well...we'll be back to CO sometime again soon, and can hopefully play more at the park then! Here are some cute shots I did get of Kylie though!

Colorado or Bust....

Our trip to Colorado was a blast. Brian got his work done, and Kylie and I got some good family time in. However...our EARLY flight was NO FUN! We had to get up at 4am to catch our 6am flight! Ahhhhh! Kylie doesn't normally see that hour of the day (neither does her mother!!!), so she was a bit exhausted. She was REALLY good during the flight, but was awfully tired when we finally got to Grandma and Grandpa's. She did take a nap, but when Uncle Brandon, Aunt Leah, and her cousins came over that night...she was a bit moody. It can be expected though. She had a lot of fun traveling though! She got to ride in a plane, train, and car all in one day! (Wow...sounds like a movie title or something! :) )

Such a big girl...she was climbing up and down off this chair the whole time we were sitting there. Well, except for the time she tried to eat Cheerios and almost fell asleep! :)
Ahhh....what a cute family at 6am! :) (Ok...somehow Brian and Kylie look bright-eyed and cheery but Mom is struggling a bit!)
Daddy and daughter on the train together!

To our sweet Kylie....

If anyone knows Kylie at all, you know that she's quite attached to her parents. Don't know why, really. It seems she loves us. :) She is just pretty clingy to us if people she doesn't know are around. It just takes her a bit of time to get used to people, and there's nothing wrong with that. So I am dedicating this post to our sweet Kylie....here you are with both Mommy and Daddy! :) We love you SO MUCH little angel! Also, she loves being outside and all the land we have around us, so I decided to also add a picture of a sunset I saw out our windows the other day! We only live about 2 miles off the freeway, but look at our view! We love it!

Daddy had to back up his car in our driveway the other day, so he decided to take Kylie along for the ride. :) She LOVED it and didn't want to leave the driver's side! Such a big girl she is!
Kylie doesn't look too thrilled, but hey...she sat still long enough to actually look at the camera, which is quite the milestone itself!
Wow....beautiful view! You can actually see trees and undeveloped land! I'm sure it won't always be this way, but we'll enjoy it for now. (Well, except for the snow on the ground...I don't enjoy that! :) It's GONE now though! Let's hope it stays that way!!!)
