Happy Anniversary!

Today is our THIRD Anniversary. I know...to some of you that's nothing. :) But it's weird because I can't remember Brian not being in my life. I know I've said this before...but he truly is an AMAZING guy! He is the best!!! He is one of those guys that actually sees something that needs doing, and DOES IT! (Most of the time! :) ) He works all day and then comes home and wants to make sure I have what I need. He works so hard at work to provide for us. He works so hard at being a husband to make sure I'm happy. He works so hard at being a daddy so that he and Kylie have a great relationship. He's just such an amazing man and I love him so much!!!! Thanks, Brian, for EVERYTHING! I hope you know how much I love you and want YOU to be happy! Happy Anniversary!!!!
Our wedding day was so beautiful and amazing. We were married at Mount Timp temple and the flowers were just blooming! I had such a fabulous day!!!

We went to Jamaica for our honeymoon, at a Sandals resort. For those of you that haven't been but want to...DO IT! It was the BEST BEST BEST time!!! We really can't wait to get back. We had such a blast there together. It was a great way to start our marriage. We felt like we were in fantasy paradise world. (And I guess we were. :) )

This is from this last Christmas. A few more pounds on each of us, but we're still in love. :) And that's what really counts, right?! :) I love you BABY!!!

Our FIRST Zoo Trip!!!!

Yesterday was a fabulous "Fun Family Activity" day! (Hi Amy! :) ) Brian took work off so we could go to the zoo together as a family. Since none of us had been to Hogle Zoo yet, we wanted to go all together as a family. Brian and I have been so excited all week, just knowing that Kylie would love it. She LOVES animals! And she did love it. So much. When we saw the elephants, or "lphnt" as Kylie says it, she was in awe. Then she says, "more, more!" and starts tromping off. Like she just couldn't see everything fast enough. She would barely pause for me to even take a picture. :) It was fun...and PERFECT weather!!! It was sunny and warm, but still a nice breeze in the air. We went to the park afterwards, and that is when it got HOT! Kylie didn't even want to go down the slides because they were too hot. We had a great family day and I'm SO THANKFUL for my family!!! Thanks for the great Mother's Day gift Babe, and thanks for being such a fun, FABULOUS daughter Baby Girl! I LOVE YOU BOTH SO MUCH!!!

Kylie LOVED the Lion water fountains. She liked to play in the water, and wanted to get up top. She kept going around behind him too. It was pretty cute. :)

Kylie and her Daddy sure had fun at the zoo! :) I swear...I was there too! :) But since I'm the only one that picks up the camera to actually take a picture....I don't get in any of them. Would someone else talk to Brian about that, please?! :) He won't listen to me!

So...these are the only pics I can manage to get with my daughter...the ones I try to take myself. And she doesn't like it much, so she hides her face. And funny story...she got these glasses in this doctor's toy that she got for Christmas. She LOVES to wear them. I think she looks like Harry Potter in them. :)

Happy Mother's Day to MY MAMA!!!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!! I just want to dedicate this post to my amazing mother! She really is one amazing woman and I love her dearly! She is beautiful, talented, strong, amazing, and has so much to offer! I hope she knows how much I love her! I am the person I am today because of my mama! I cherish our relationship and am so glad she's MY MOM!!! I hope you had a fabulous Mother's Day and that you were spoiled! Can't wait to see you next week! I LOVE YOU!

Happy Mother's Day!

Dumb me...I didn't take ONE picture of us on Mother's Day?! I'll have to do that today, for sure. After all...an event didn't really happen unless we have photos of it to scrapbook, right?! :)

Anyway: I wish everyone out there a Happy Mother's Day! We had a great one at the Van Camp home. Brian started early...and brought me home flowers on Saturday. Then he let me sleep as late as I wanted on Sunday! (FABULOUS!!!) Then when I woke up, he made me sit in a chair and open presents. (Are you serious...how could you have a better start to the day?! :) ) He is SO THOUGHTFUL and fabulous! He gave me 2 gift bags. Each one represented a "day" I get to have. The first one is a family day....a year long zoo pass for our family, with a gift card to Wendy's for lunch afterwards, and a big blanket to be used as our park blanket (although it's too cute to be used as such and has now just become my new cuddly blanket! :) ). The second bag is a personal day for me... filled with a book, a dark chocolate candy bar (MY FAVE!), and a gift certificate for a spa day. Then he gave me a card (he even made it himself!!! :) In the card he told me he is taking Friday off work and I get to pick one of the "days" I wanted to do first. A day at the spa for myself (FABULOUS!) or a day with my family at the zoo (FABULOUS as well)! Well...what did I pick you ask?! We're going to the zoo!!! We need a fun family day, and I'm so excited!!

Then we cooked breakfast together (he was going to cook for me, but I wanted to help), hung out, and then went to church. Then afterwards, he helped me finish up, as best we could, my stamping room. It looks so great, especially compared to what it used to! :) I posted pictures of that room on my stamping blog, http://www.designwithink.blogspot.com/ if you want to check that out.

After all this, he cooked me an amazing dinner! Steaks on the grill (THEY WERE AMAZING!), potatoes, a YUMMY salad, muffins, and then brownie sundae for dessert. Then we hung out as a family, talked to our moms, and just had fun. After Kylie went to bed we watched the Survivor Finale (although our DVR didn't tape the first hour and 45 mins!!! We were DYING!! At least we got to see who won although it made us mad! :) ). It was a PERFECT day!

I am just so thankful that I have such an amazing husband! I can't believe I got as lucky as I did to have him as my husband! He is such a good husband, father, supporter...he's so talented, amazing, handsome, and we have so much fun together! Thanks Babe for an amazing day and I hope you know how much I love you!! Thank you for taking so good care of us and making it possible to stay at home with Kylie every day! I am so thankful as well to have the most beautiful daughter, inside and out! :) We have SO MUCH FUN together. My fave sound is her sweet laugh, and we both get the giggles a lot during the day. She's so funny and has the best personality. I am so lucky to get to stay at home with her and play everyday.

Following in Grandma Van Camp's footsteps...

This post is dedicated to Kylie's Grandma Van Camp! She is a very talented musician, teaches piano lessons, restores pianos, and pretty much everything in between! She taught herself how to play the piano and everything! Well...I have a feeling Kylie is following in her footsteps! Kylie's best friend has a piano, and she LOVES to play on it. And she doesn't just bang the keys, she actually is already doing a pretty good job playing! For an almost 2 year old, anyway. So I had to capture the moment so Grandma could see! :) Isn't she darling! She actually LOOKED at the camera for me to get a photo. :) I'll have to record it so I can post a video of how well she does next time! Enjoy!

She loves her Little Einsteins...

Kylie is so funny. She so has her parents trained. Her fave place to watch her Little Einsteins show is in the guest bedroom that's downstairs. And as you can she...she likes her pillows. She is such a princess. :) Betsy was over tonight and saw this and just laughed. I had to take a picture and show the rest of you what we are dealing with here. She is a very particular girl. Too funny though. This is right before bedtime.

Park Pics....

Well, since the weather has been so cold here, it's been a little while since we've been to the park. So here are some pics from a few weeks ago. Kylie LOVES LOVES the park. And we love taking her! :) My mom was here for this park adventure. We had a picnic, played, and just enjoyed the windy weather! Hopefully it will warm up soon! We had SNOW this morning! And now it's sunny. AHHH! Sometimes I hate Utah. BUT....1/2 our sod is being laid right now! The other 1/2 will be done tomorrow! FUN! Can't WAIT for our yard!!!
